Trent Mullen and Richard Faulkner were co-agents in selling my property recently through Gittoes.
I was initially interested in using another agency that had also been helpful while I was looking at Open Houses, however, the options of having more photos to put online was a big factor for me in favour of Gittoes. This is because, when I was purchasing, I did most of my research online and if a property site only showed two or three photos, I always suspected they were hiding rooms not worthy of viewing.
Richard and Trent were both very pleasant to deal with in marketing my home, did not rush me through the marketing folders or looking about my property, and were always happy to answer any of my many questions by phone or email.
The photographer and fellow who drew up the floor plans who visited my home was a very friendly, efficient and reasonably priced.
My home was advertised online only the first week, and marketed to their existing client list from Wednesday, had 7 inspections that Saturday, and I was phoned a few hours later to be told one party was particularly interested and were taking a contract.
By the first Monday I had sold my home!
I had two separate offers that day, and it was sold to one of Trent's existing clients. The price offered was close to the advertised price and I was almost ready to accept the first offer. Even though it was early and I was sure if I would get a better offer. Gittoes went back to the purchaser and asked for a slightly higher price, which was then accepted that afternoon.
The final price was above the estimate of both agencies, and above my own estimate, so I was very happy with the price which was only just short of the top advertised price. Of course the quick sale consequently saved me marketing costs.
Prior to the cooling-off period finishing, we did hold one more open day , this time advertised through the Central Coast Express Advocate, and we had 8 new separate groups through as well as the potential buyer showing his family. I was present at that opening, and found Richard to be polite an unobtrusive to those visiting my home, yet happy to chat for as long as required to those who wanted to talk about the property, whether or not he expected they were genuine buyers.
Since the sale I have had several more questions and am still receiving polite friendly service from all at Gittoes.

I was the owner at 2/17 Webb Street, East Gosford and had been trying to sell the property with another agent from Aug to Nov 2011 about 4 months and could not sell it. Then decided to take it off the market for a few months.
On the 11th June 2012, I decided to put it on the market again and this time with Gittoes and Trent Mullen was my agent. We decided to start the campaign on the 25th June 2012, giving me 2 weeks to get the property ready for the first open inspection. I got a call from Mr Mullen that a prospective buyer is keen to have a look at the property on Thurs 21st June 2012, few days before the starting date of the campaign on Mon 25th June 2012 where the sale sign is to be put up. The buyer decided to pay a holding deposit and for my total surprise Mr Mullen managed to get me the price above my expected reserved value. I am really pleased and very happy to be able to get him on board, helping me selling my place, which I did not expect to sell so fast and above the expected value. The 'sold' sign was put on a few days after the sign board was placed, it must be one of the quickest sales in Webb Street.
